A custom guide for your celebration

A calm, guided experience built for destination weddings and real moments

Finding a photographer for a destination wedding is about more than pictures.

You are not just hiring someone to show up with a camera. You are bringing somebody into one of the biggest trips and biggest moments of your life.

That means the person you choose has to feel right, travel well, keep the energy calm, and still deliver work that actually reflects how the day felt.

You need someone you can trust
Destination weddings come with enough moving parts already. Your photographer should make things smoother, not add stress.
You want someone you can vibe with
The right photographer knows when to lead, when to step back, and how to fit naturally into the flow of the day.
You still want the day to feel like you
Not overly posed. Not forced. Just clean, timeless images with real emotion and the moments that matter most.
You need the investment to make sense
You are already planning a trip, hosting guests, and putting together a full experience. Your coverage should feel worth it from every angle.

I travel ready, stay calm, and document the day the way it actually felt.

I’m LeVar, a Charlotte based photographer with a background in hospitality and years of experience documenting weddings, events, and real moments in different cities and different environments. That background matters because weddings are not just about beautiful images. They are also about reading the room, keeping people comfortable, and knowing how to move through a day without making it feel stiff or staged.

“The best wedding photos happen when people feel comfortable enough to be fully present.”

I have traveled for work across North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Washington DC, Virginia, and West Virginia. Every place is different, but the approach stays the same. Arrive prepared. Learn the light. Understand the environment. Be ready before the couple ever has to think about me.

I hold a valid passport and I am ready to travel. My goal is simple. Show up prepared, make the experience easy, and create images that still feel honest years from now.

The Day After Sunrise Session

One of the best parts of a destination wedding is that the story does not have to end when the reception does.

The morning after often feels lighter, calmer, and more personal. This session gives you a chance to create something beautiful without the pressure of a full timeline, and it usually ends up being one of the most memorable parts of the whole experience.

If travel is covered, my pricing stays focused on service.

Because destination weddings come with extra moving parts, I like to keep things clear. If the couple is covering travel and lodging, then my collection pricing stays centered on the actual photography and coverage experience.

Once a package is selected, we can confirm the exact travel arrangements, lodging details, and timeline expectations together so everything is locked in cleanly and early.

Planning a destination wedding? Let’s talk.

To reserve the date, I require a signed contract and a 25 percent retainer. The remaining balance would be due 60 days before the wedding. Everything is spelled out clearly in the agreement so there are no surprises.

I am happy to jump on a quick call, walk through the options, and help figure out what level of coverage makes the most sense for your wedding.

Most couples want guidance, calm energy, and someone who knows when to step in and when to step back. That is exactly how I work.
