Daniel and Corina’s Wedding at Carolina Country Club | Charlotte Wedding Photographer
Daniel and Corina’s wedding at Carolina Country Club was one of those days that just felt right from the start.
Driving into the venue, you pass these open green pastures before heading under a canopy of trees that makes everything feel a little more tucked away and peaceful. It was a beautiful early April day, sunny with a light breeze, the kind of weather you hope for when planning a spring wedding in North Carolina.
When I arrived, the team was already setting everything up and made it easy to get familiar with the space. Since it was my first time at Carolina Country Club, I took some time to walk through the reception area, capturing the details, the cake, and the overall setup before the day really got moving.
Inside, Corina and her bridesmaids were getting ready with hair and makeup in full swing. The room had a calm, excited energy to it. We grabbed some candid moments of everyone together, along with those in between shots that always end up meaning the most later. At the same time, Daniel and his guys were hanging out, relaxed and joking around. Once they were dressed, we stepped outside for a few portraits on the deck, and you could tell they were just enjoying the moment.
Before the ceremony, there were a few moments that really stood out. Corina shared a first look with her father, and then a quiet first touch with Daniel. Those parts of the day always slow things down in the best way.
Their ceremony was especially meaningful, with a dual language Spanish experience that brought both families together in a really intentional way. It added a layer of connection that you could feel throughout the entire ceremony.
Afterwards, we moved into family portraits and then took advantage of the property for couple photos. There was this soft green pathway that felt almost hidden, and then we made our way out to the rolling hills with tall grass overlooking the landscape. It gave us a mix of intimate and wide, open shots that really captured the feel of the day.
Once we headed back in, the energy shifted into celebration mode. From the grand entrance to the speeches, first dances, and a packed dance floor, the reception carried that same mix of emotion and fun all the way through to the send off.
Daniel and Corina, I appreciate you trusting me to capture your day. It was a good one.
